POSITION SUMMARY:
- Responsible for the daily operation of the Restaurant, ensure standards are achieved and procedures maintained, maximise profitability while achieving a high standard of service and level of guest satisfaction.
- The Assistant Manager will be required to conduct their duties in a courteous, safe and efficient manner, in accordance with the hotel’s policies and procedures, ensuring that a high level of service is maintained.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the daily operation of the Restaurant, ensure standards are achieved and procedures maintained, maximise profitability while achieving a high standard of service and level of guest satisfaction.
- The Assistant Manager will be required to conduct their duties in a courteous, safe and efficient manner, in accordance with the hotel’s policies and procedures, ensuring that a high level of service is maintained.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimise absenteeism and to manage occupational health & safety issues.
- Maintain all equipment within the outlet.
- In conjunction with the Restaurant Manager, prepare and achieve outlooks, budgets and manpower forecasts.
- Ensure and understand the correct procedures for handling intoxicated and underage guests.
- Personally ensure compliance with all relevant Workplace Health & Safety and Occupational Health & Safety rules and related “Hotel Brand” Policies.

ABILITIES/ KEY COMPETENCIES/ SKILLS:
- Good communication skills, must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language (s) used in the work place.
- Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities.
- Leadership Skills.
- Have good understanding about French Food & Beverage.
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE/ CERTIFICATES:
- High Diploma or equivalent preferred
- A minimum 2 years experiences in the similar role.
