Coherent Vietnam

Coherent Corp., an American manufacturer specializing in optical materials and semiconductors, has been active in Vietnam since 2005. They have established operations in the VSIP I Industrial Park in Binh Duong and the Yen Phong Industrial Park in Bac Ninh. Recently, Coherent announced plans to invest significantly in high-tech projects in the southern province of Dong Nai. These projects will focus on advanced optics and semiconductor technologies. Coherent will lease 7.6 hectares in the Nhon Trach 1 Industrial park to implement these initiatives. This investment aligns with Dong Nai’s strategy to attract high-tech industries and will involve hundreds of millions of U.S. dollars.
