BEFORE YOU CAN WRITE A GREAT FUTURE
YOU NEED A GREAT PAST
"SPECIAL GARAGES" ARE NOT JUST A THING OF THE SILICON VALLEY
FROM ITALY TO VIETNAM, MOLDAVIA, AND RUSSIA
AN AROUND-THE-WORLD JOURNEY IN MORE THAN 40 YEARS OF ESANASTRI'S HISTORY.
It all started in a garage, but not in the Silicon Valley, where Roberto Posarelli decided to buy the first machine for adhesive tape printing. This is how ESANASTRI was established in 1974. Shortly after, a department of silk-screen printing followed. With the first frames came the first successes, as well as entry into the two-wheeler market in the 80s, thanks to partnership with Piaggio.
Those were very busy and satisfying years, culminating in 1986, with the set-up of the FASHION DEPARTMENT for leather and fabric decoration. The garage was no longer enough, and Roberto Posarelli decided to move ESANASTRI to a new plant in Calcinaia. "New" like his ambition and resolve to make the company even stronger.
That was in 1989. The Berlin Wall was about to fall and the world about to change. As was the destiny of ESANASTRI, with the decision to extend beyond our borders, into Russia and Moldavia. This revolutionary change reflected the international nature of the company.
In 2007, thanks to the arrival of Kromex, we started printing 3D logos.
Just one year later a new journey for ESANASTRI began. The company won the first important TRENITALIA competition, leading to the establishment of the RAILWAY DEPARTMENT. Those were years of change and when we started to print digitally. Quite an evolution for those of us who were born with silk-screen printing!
In 2011, another landmark moment prompted the company to cross the ocean and open the first plant outside Europe. We set up in Vietnam, secure in our a thirty-year experience in the two-wheeler world and our lasting partnership with Piaggio.
All of this has merged today into a single voice: ESANASTRI. A humble garage birth, a wager won, and 40 years of experience behind us. We are far from the end.
This is just the beginning.
