T&J Green Energy Co. Ltd

T&J Green Energy Company Limited (T&J) is a company jointly invested by local company Thuan Thanh Environment JSC (TT) and JFE Engineering Corporation (JFE) of Japan. T&J will construct and operate a 11.6MW (gross) waste to energy (WTE) plant located on 4.8 hectares of land in the Thuan Thanh district, Bac Ninh province from 01st January 2022. This is the first and unique project between Vietnam and Japanese company. The new WTE plant will process up to 350 tons per day (tpd) of municipal solid waste generated in Bac Ninh province and up to 150 tpd of non-hazardous industrial solid waste generated in factories in northern Vietnam. T&J will generate income from waste tipping fees and power sold to the national grid via a 20-year power purchase agreement with Vietnam Electricity (EVN).
