As a Training Officer cum English Teacher, you will be responsible for assisting Training Manager in managing the hotel’s training function, including developing a complement of qualified departmental trainers and establishes a hotel system for generating training data and evaluating results and you are given a role to support our colleagues improving their English communicative skills to order to help them excel in their professional roles.
Your-day-to-day
1. Training Officer
- Support colleagues to make sure they deliver with compliance and to the standards we expect.
- Drive a great working environment for teams to thrive - linking up departments to create sense of one team.
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
- Recommend or initiate any HR related actions where needed.
- Familiarize yourself with the IHG HR and Training Standards, localizing where necessary.
- Conduct necessary training for line colleagues.
- Tracking training attendance record and E-learning completion.
- Assist Training Manager on Departmental Skills Audit and organizaing training activies.
- Assist Training Manager with site inspections for schools, colleges, and universities for implementing the IHG Academy program.
- Create and keep trainee database up-to-date.
- Regularly communicates with colleagues to maintain good relations.
- Be active part in organizing staff activities
2. English Teacher
- Develop teaching contents and curriculum that are catered well for hospitality industry and are met with IHG/Crowne Plaza Brand standards.
- Analyze English communication gaps across departments and propose the training plan accordingly.
- Submit weekly/monthly lesson plans and learning objectives for class to Training Manager.
- Conduct general English and for departments-specific classes with practical lessons.

- Facilitate a creative and supportive learning environment to colleague learners.
- Perform fun, interactive and engaging activities that boost class engagement and learners’ interests.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc
1. Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Training or related field.
2. Service years in the field:
- 1-2 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
3. Knowledge and skills:
- Knowledge of teaching methods.
- Proficient in MS Office and adequate skill for digital platforms
- Strong ethics and reliability.
- Good presentation skill, result-oriented mindset, creative, organizational and training passion.
- Good English speaking and writing
