Re-Shaping Development Institute (ReDI) is a civil society organization (CSO) headquartered in Seoul, Korea and was founded in 2011 wanting to provide alternative ideas as an evidence-led research institution for international development on every level, be it projects, policies, and systems. ReDI wants to make a difference in this world through research that has the power to influence not only developmental policies but also change people’s perspectives by educating them on alternative ideas in this field. The goal of ReDI is defined by a collective belief that people in developing countries should be the main actors of change and the owners of their own development. To ensure that the research is rooted in people’s voices, ReDI maintains formulating socially-, politically-, and culturally-appropriate development, and aim to make an imprint on the world while doing so. ReDI hopes to strengthen the knowledge network with more researchers, think tanks, and stakeholders, and also highly welcomes encouragement and contribution in any shape or form. As the first action to make the retail and distribution industry of Vietnam be inclusively developed, ReDI designed ‘Capacity Building for Inclusive Development of Vietnam’s Distribution Industry’ project, and as a part of the project, ReDI established and is operating Lotte-KOICA-IUH service training center (LKIC) in co- operation with Lotte group, Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) of Vietnam and Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh city (IUH) as an inclusive business solution (IBS) program of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) since June 2017.
