Job Summary:The IT Workplace Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the IT workplace infrastructure, including end-user devices, collaboration platforms, and productivity tools. This role ensures employees have a reliable, secure, and efficient IT environment to perform their work.Key Responsibilities:End-User Device Management:Deploy, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals.Manage device lifecycle, including procurement, imaging, patching, and decommissioning.Implement and support endpoint management tools (e.g. SCCM,..).Collaboration & Productivity Tools:Support and optimize tools like Microsoft 365, Teams.Ensure seamless integration and user experience across platforms.Workplace Infrastructure:Maintain and support meeting room technologies (AV systems, conferencing tools).Assist with network connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, VPN, LAN) in collaboration with the network team.Security & Compliance:Enforce endpoint security policies (antivirus, encryption, access control).Ensure compliance with IT policies and regulatory requirements.User Support & Training:Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated IT issues.Create documentation and conduct training sessions for end users.Project Participation:Contribute to IT projects related to digital workplace transformation.Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve user experience.Team & Vendor Management:Lead and mentor a team of workplace engineers, support analysts, and service desk staff.Manage third-party vendors and service providers to ensure SLAs and KPIs are met.Service Delivery & Support:Oversee end-user support services, including service desk operations and incident management.Ensure high availability and performance of workplace systems and tools.Drive continuous improvement in ITSM processes (e.g., request fulfillment, problem management).Technology & Infrastructure Oversight:Manage lifecycle of end-user devices (laptops, desktops, mobile devices).Oversee collaboration platforms (Microsoft 365, Teams, Zoom, etc.).Ensure meeting room technologies and office IT infrastructure are modern, reliable, and user-friendly.
