In addition to great products such as the mortgage or price calculator, we also offer editorial articles on topics such as housing and financing. We are looking for an Android Engineer who is passionate about mobile development and eager to work on high-quality Android applications. As a key contributor to our mobile engineering team, you will focus on delivering clean, efficient, and reliable code, working closely with other engineers, designers, and product managers. Together, we tackle challenges, celebrate successes, and keep learning and growing. Your Mission:Design, develop, and maintain Android applications, ensuring a high standard of performance, reliability, and user experience.Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to define, design, and ship new features.Lead architectural and design discussions, ensuring scalable and efficient application structure.Implement best practices for coding standards, testing, and development workflows in Android development.Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and security.Conduct code reviews and promote knowledge-sharing practices.Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to unit testing, release, and post-launch support.Actively contribute to improving team processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and communication.Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and tools in Android development and integrate new solutions as they fit our applications and workflow.Your responsibilities will evolve as we grow.
