Division: Business Office Position: Accountant (8-month contract)Reports to: Accounting ManagerWorking hours: From 8.00AM to 5.00PM, Monday through FridayExpected starting date: May 5, 2025HOW TO APPLY: Interested candidates are invited to submit their applications through the school recruitment portal at: https://www.applitrack.com/unishanoi/onlineapp/_application.aspx?posJobCodes=490&posFirstChoice=2020%20-%202021%20SCHOOL%20YEAR%20OPENINGS&posSpecialty=Please note that only applications submitted via this portal will be considered.Job Responsibilities:• Process invoice postings to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness• Review and process payment requests in compliance with internal policies and external regulations• Maintain copies of vouchers, invoices or correspondence for files in order;• Check, compare debt reports and confirm debts with suppliers• Monitor advances and deposits, and follow up with relevant departments for timely settlements• Review and reconcile campus card/inventory transactions for shop• Perform reconciliation tasks: AP items, revenue reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and promptly resolve/report discrepancies.• Ensure accurate journal entries, including month-end and year-end closing adjustments.• Working closely & maintaining good communication with other departments for payment process, accrual process & other processes.• Support in Liaise with external parties such as banks, insurer, regulators, audit (when required)• Assist in preparation of supporting documentation for audits or regulatory visits• Assist Accounting Manager on other duties as required.

Key Competencies:Technical capacityi. Education/Qualifications• University Degree in finance & accounting or other equivalent qualificationsii. Experience• At least 2-year experience in a similar role, preferably in international/multinational organizationsiii.
