- You personalize interactions within the service process, aiming to make each visit to the Rice Market as memorable and unique as possible.
- Tailor menu recommendations to guests for both food and beverage items. You do this by genuinely listening to the guest’s preferences and making recommendations accordingly.
- Your body language is positive and confident, yet humble, creating an inviting and approachable atmosphere for our guests.
- Acknowledge guests and remember dining preferences as well as their names and preferred seating. You look for opportunities to positively surprise guests through small or large gestures and acts of kindness.
- You inform guests about activities that will take place in Regent and around Phu Quoc Island in order to contribute to a pleasant stay for our guests.
- You are responsible for the task which is assigned on Duty Allocation by Shift Leader before Operating Time.
- Take charge not only at the assigned place but also the whole restaurant if operation requires.
- You know how to upsell quality products and use suggestive selling in order to complement products, resulting in a higher average spending and overall revenue increase.
- You are pro-active in supporting colleagues in Rice Market, but also in other food and beverage outlets if requested by the management.
- Your communication with colleagues, through both body language and voice, is always calm and with a gracious tone.
- You oversee the amount of work and are pro-active in asking for assistance from colleagues whenever required.
- You remember and take orders without prompting, resulting in a seamless service delivery.
- Ensure all tables are setup according to the resort’s standards and that service stations are fully stocked and ready for operation.
- You are responsible for recording orders through the Point of Sale system and actively monitor preparation times in order to deliver food & beverage items within a timely manner.
- You responsibly handle cash and credit card payments, by carefully recording transactions in the Point of Sale System, resulting in an accurate daily report at the end of the day.
- Make sure Rice Market and the surrounding areas are spotlessly clean. You do this by following cleaning checklists, but also by taking control and inspect the areas on a regular base.
- Always live up to the standards set by the Regent brand, by assuring you are well known the standard operating procedures and making sure they are respected.
- You know the Forbes Travel Guide Standards that are applicable for restaurants & bars and you ensure that you implement them within the service processes.
- You pay attention to small details, which visually expresses in a spotlessly clean workspace, tailored services and a well-groomed appearance.
- You have the knowledge to solve problems on the spot, but also knows when to ask for assistance from colleagues. Always follow up on guest issues and report occurred problems to the management.

- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Server in a 5-star hotel or upscale restaurant.
- Knowledge of F&B service standards.
- Experience serving international guests.
- Professional appearance, good communication, and attention to detail.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
