Enforces documents and establishes effective controls for all revenues, expenses, and protection of assets.
Maintains accurate and timely financial and operating information and provides analysis, interpretation, and projections to management.
Co-ordinates and assists Department Heads in preparing and implementing the resort’s annual business plan.
Controls capital and FF&E expenditure to ensure compliance with justifications and approvals.
Implements and maintains effective accounting practices and procedures as required by corporate policy, generally accepted accounting principles, and local legal requirements and regulations.
Directs and manages the cost control, purchasing, and storeroom functions ensuring effective systems are in place.
Administers all resort insurance programs in conjunction with the Corporate office.
Approves all contracts, leases, and other legal documents and ensures their safekeeping.
Acts as the authorized signatory, ensuring that allowances, adjustments, purchase requests, cheques, and other documents are approved accordingly.
Ensures hosts are selected, trained, evaluated and rewarded in compliance with the existing host management system.
Participates in all wage and salary administration functions.
Coaches, counsels, disciplines, and develops subordinate hosts.
Contributes to the morale and team spirit of the resort by maintaining effective relationships with colleagues.
Performs additional duties as directed by supervisors. These may include duties at any Six Senses Resort and Spa property.
Makes appropriate suggestions and recommendations to management for the general improvement of the resort.
Is fully conversant with all health and safety, fire, and emergency procedures.
Maintains a high standard of personal hygiene, dress, uniform, and body language.
Is polite and professional in any situation where the image or reputation of the hotel is represented.
Attends meetings and training as required by managers.
Ensures that all activities are carried out honestly, ethically, and within the parameters of local law.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
Bachelor degree is required.
Three or more years of progressive accounting managerial experience.
International resort or hotel experienced is preferred.
Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is acceptable.
Microsoft Office application literacy, cross-cultural work environments exposure, critical problem analysis/resolution skills.
Knowledge and experience in the purchasing and productions process and is equally versed in GAAP for hospitality.
English with ability to communicate clearly.
Knowledge as well as abilities in other languages would be beneficial.
Heavy lifting of materials up to 22kgs may be required.
