General
o Contribute to the morale and team spirit of the hotel by maintaining effective relationships with colleagues.
o Perform additional duties as directed by the Restaurant Manager
o Interact with guests actively soliciting feedback.
o Make appropriate suggestions and recommendations to the direct supervisors to improve the whole bar area.
o Be fully conversant with all health and safety, fire, and emergency procedures.
o Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene, dress, uniform, and body language.
o Be polite and professional in any situation where the image or reputation of the hotel is represented.
o Attend the meetings and trainings as required by the Restaurant Manager
o Achievement of the goals and objectives for the whole restaurant.
o Quantity and nature of guest comments and complaints.
o Individual performance with hotel standards.
o Involved in staff training and development.
Operations
o Direct and control all subordinate associates to ensure that all day-to-day operational matters are handled on time and guest expectations are met.
o Provide guidance and assistance to the bar associates, helping them in the execution of their duties and responsibilities.
o Oversee the service standards in the bar ensuring that they conform to the requisite standards and meet or exceed customer expectations.
o Assist in the planning and execution of promotional activities as directed.
o Maximize the beverage revenue by implementing upselling procedures.
o Assist in controlling costs and wastages.
o Assist in monitoring and controlling the restaurant and bar’s OE & beverage inventory and participate in inventory taking.
o Conducts frequent front and back of house checks, ensuring mise-en-place, service procedures, standards of cleanliness and hygiene, repair and maintenance, employee grooming, and manning levels are in order and takes appropriate action where necessary.
o Coaches, counsels, disciplines, and develops subordinate associates.

o Aware of the modern bartending and mixologist procedure
o Capable of supporting the Restaurant Manager and the Assistant Restaurant Manager for the creation of signature cocktails and beverages
o Capable of conducting the beverage inventory
o Aware of both basic and refined bartending and barista techniques
o Sounds like organization skills
o Sounds like leadership and motivational skills
o Interacts with both colleagues and occasionally with guests
o Able to handle a demanding workload
o Basic computer skills
o Proven experience in hotel bars of similar upper-scale concepts.
