Key Responsibilities:1. Bid Strategy & Developmento Serve as the primary point of contact for all EMS-related bids and proposals.o Develop a clear bid strategy, ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer requirements.o Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, sales, procurement, finance) to gather critical inputs for compelling proposals.2. Proposal Managemento Oversee the creation of comprehensive, accurate, and commercially viable proposals, including technical details, timelines, and pricing.o Ensure all proposal documents align with customer needs, internal capabilities, and compliance standards.o Manage version control, reviews, and approvals to meet submission deadlines.3. Cost & Pricing Analysiso Work closely with procurement teams to model competitive pricing structures.o Perform cost analysis on materials, labor, and overhead to optimize margins.o Continuously refine pricing models to remain competitive in a dynamic market.4. Risk Assessment & Mitigationo Identify potential risks (technical, financial, timeline) and develop mitigation strategies.o Evaluate contractual terms and conditions to ensure legal and commercial protections for the company.o Conduct due diligence on key suppliers and partners to confirm feasibility and reliability.5. Stakeholder Communication & Negotiationo Engage with customers to clarify requirements, address concerns, and negotiate pricing and contract terms.o Present bid status, outcomes, and recommendations to senior management.o Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to streamline the bidding process.6. Process Improvement & Best Practiceso Establish standardized bidding processes, tools, and templates for efficiency and consistency.o Track and analyze won/lost bids to identify trends, lessons learned, and areas for improvement.o Mentor junior members of the team on best practices in proposal management and negotiation.

Qualifications & Skills:• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.• Experience:o Minimum 5-7 years of EMS industry experience, with at least 3 years in a bidding, proposal management, or business development role.o Proven track record of winning complex manufacturing projects.• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with electronics assembly processes, product lifecycle management, supply chain logistics, and quality/regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO standards).• Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of cost drivers, pricing strategies, and contract negotiation within the EMS space.• Project Management: Excellent organizational and project management skills; able to oversee multiple bids simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to interpret technical drawings, BOMs, and financial data to make data-driven decisions.• Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior executives and customers.• Tools & Software: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), ERP/MRP systems, and CRM tools.
