Job Summary:The Business Development Manager at SPCT, a terminal specializing in Ro-Ro, general cargo, and container services, is responsible for developing the sales plan within the assigned customer target group, developing the value proposition, and driving the opportunity from identification until business award.Key Accountabilities1 Grow revenue in assigned customer segment: Formulate and execute comprehensive sales strategies to deliver sustainable revenue growth, within assigned portfolio.2 Build and Maintain the Customer Relationships: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key clients, including automakers, BCOs, and shipping lines, to ensure customer retention and maximize revenue from value-added services.3 Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, analyze competitor activities, and tailor service offerings to meet the evolving needs of customers in the terminal handling sector.4 Negotiate Contracts and Agreements: Negotiate with clients to secure contracts for terminal services, ensuring favorable terms that align with SPCT’s financial and operational objectives.5 Drive Revenue Growth through Value-Added Services: Promote and expand value-added services (e.g., customized logistics solutions) to enhance customer satisfaction and increase revenue streams from existing and new clients. 6 Maintain company systems: Maintain CRM and provide regular reports to senior management, recommending adjustments to strategies as needed.7 Collaborate with Operations and Other Departments: Work closely with operations, logistics, and other teams to ensure seamless service delivery and address customer requirements effectively.8 Represent SPCT in Industry Events: Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote SPCT’s services, build brand visibility, and establish new business connections.9 Ensure Compliance and Customer Satisfaction: Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations and SPCT’s standards, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through consistent follow-ups and issue resolution.

1 Minimum Level of EducationEducational Level: Bachelor’s Degree in related field2 Professional Qualification: Relevant qualifications3 Experience Required: - 5 years experience in related industry with a strong knowledge of a strategic sales environment with a proven track record.- 5 years of working experience in the port and terminal industry- Solid knowledge of port and terminal offerings, operational solutions, network structures, pricing strategies, and industry-specific terminology- Demonstrate success in identifying, pursuing, and securing major business opportunities through both individual initiative and teamwork, across competitive and non-competitive sales environments4 Technical Skills Required- Licensed Skills:- Unlicensed Skills:5 Knowledge Required- Language: Proficiency in English, Chinese (elementary)- Computer: Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
