Administration
• To contribute to the overall effective and professional function of the various outlets by co-operating with the Outlet Manager.
• To be ready and responsible when assigned to perform any other any duties as designated by supervisor.
• Refer to operations manual (SOPs) :
- MH SOP - Invoice issuing & Controlling 2011
- Accor SOP - Cashiering and Banking - Index Nº: FIN-02
- Evalpack policy for Treasury & etc.
Financial and Revenue Responsibilities
• To make sure that all cash transactions involving hotel guests are carried out promptly and efficiently according to the control guidelines.
• To make sure that all credit settlements are handled according to internal control procedures, including the authorization of the full amount of the balance at the time of settlement.
• To make sure that all City Ledger Accounts have prior billing approval from General Manager.
• To make sure all work is properly and accurately balanced at the end of each shift.
• To make sure any pending matters at the end of each shift are properly communicated to the following shift.
• To adhered to the discount policy of the Hotel.
• To keep record of captain order sequentially.
Training and Human Resources Management
• Directly report to Income Auditor
• Under the responsible of Senior Cashier / Cashier Supervisor.
• To work closely and Co-ordinate with the Outlet Manager, FB supervisor , Bartender ....
Miscellaneous
• All ambassadors are required to comply with every reasonable request from their hierarchical supervisor(s) within an amount of time that it takes to comply under normal circumstances.
• All ambassadors may be assigned to other duties in the hotel as and when required by business levels.
GENERAL DUTIES:
Health and Safety
• Ensure that all potential and real Hazards are reported immediately and rectified
• Be fully conversant with all departmental Fire, Emergency and Bomb procedures
• Ensure that all emergency procedures are rehearsed, implemented and enforced to provide for the security and safety of guests and employees
• Ensure the safety of the persons and the property of all within the premises by fairly applying Hotel Regulations by strict adherence to existing laws, statutes etc.
• Ensure all staff within the department work in a manner which is safe and unlikely to give risk of harm or injury to selves or others
To be fully conversant with:
• Hotel fire procedures
• Hotel security procedures
• Hotel Health and Safety policy and procedures
• Hotel Facilities and attractions
• Hotel standards of operation and departmental procedures
• Sofitel Keys of Luxury and Appearance guidelines
• Sofitel “BE Magnifique” vision and its corresponding strategies
• Methods of accepted payment of the company
• Short and long term company marketing promotions
