Cloud Engineer – Education & Managed Services

Role Overview:The Cloud Engineer is responsible for operating, administering, and continuously improving cloud platforms, Google Workspace for Education, and campus IT infrastructure in a managed services environment. This role focuses on access management, security, cloud operations, education platform integration, and day-to-day service reliability under defined SLAs.Key Responsibilities:Operate and manage IAM and access control across Google Workspace and AWS.Administer Google Workspace for Education, including security, user lifecycle, and Classroom operations.Support AWS managed services: governance, security monitoring, cost controls, and automation.Integrate education platforms (LMS/SIS) using SSO and standard APIs.Design, configure, and operate campus network infrastructure (Wi-Fi, VLAN, VPN, security).Monitor systems, respond to incidents, and support backup, DR, and compliance activities.Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and deliver monthly operational reports.
