PURPOSE OF THE JOBThe Color Specialist is responsible for the smooth running of colors issues on the material-supply by improving First Time Through and ensure the high quality delivery.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES1. Coordinate with customer and vendor for sample material preparation and sending.2. Measure sample material colors using spectrophotometer.3. Create reading documents and certification cards for approval by customer.4. Communicate for reading results and improvement needs with concerned party.5. Measure production material from vendor and issue color assurance report.6. Provide training to customers, their factories and vendors.7. Visit and accredit customer’s vendor laboratory and operator.8. Collaborate with the other regional offices for tasks and trials.9. Upload and update all relative documents in the shared site.10. Maintain good and easy tracking files for all color management affairs.11. Maintain good filing system for all material samples and certification cards.12. Reconcile with QA Manager for major issue and progress.13. To ensure complete file back up for color reading, tracking and confirmation; analyze and issue complete weekly color tracking report.14. Assist in local or regional color projects as assigned.15. Extensive local travel.

Professional Experience and Knowledge• Minimum 3 years working experience in leather, textile or footwear industry.• Understand the basics of color theory and quality management process.• Work independently and attention to details.• Capability to compile data and report with Excel, Word, Outlook, Power point.• Good command of both spoken and written English.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.• Require travel to customer and supplier location.• Good command of English and Mandarin / Korean will be an added advantage.Educations and Professional Qualifications• University graduate in Technical fields• Good eyes condition (no blind on color)Key Attributes• Customer-oriented, detail-minded, self-motivated, work responsible and able to work under pressure and solve problem independently.• Honest, careful and confident.• Team player with positive working attitude.• Hands on when handling operations related matter; ability to address multiple task, set work priorities, and organize work effectively.• Professional written and verbal communication skills.Travel Required• Local and overseas
