The Credit & Collections Officer is responsible for overseeing the club’s credit granting process, including the consistent application of a credit policy, periodic credit reviews of existing customers, and the assessment of the creditworthiness of potential customers. This role involves managing and ensuring the timely collection of receivables, maintaining accurate records, and minimizing bad debt losses. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, experience in credit and collections, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Manage the entire credit process, from evaluation of financial condition and creditworthiness of potential customers to recommendation of credit limits.
- Monitor and report on accounts receivable and collections, and provide detailed reports on collection activity and progress.
- Conduct collection efforts and negotiations with delinquent accounts, ensuring adherence to laws and policies.
- Coordinate with the sales and customer service departments to resolve credit and collections disputes and inquiries.
- Assess and review credit risk and establish credit limits, applying the club’s credit policy.
- Develop and implement procedures and policies for effective credit control and collections processes.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial and management reports related to credit and collections.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all credit and collections activities

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit and collections, preferably in the gaming, hospitality, or related industry.
- Strong understanding of credit reporting agencies, credit analysis, and collections practices.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of integrity and respect for confidentiality.
