POSITION PURPOSEThe customer service representative interacts, builds, and maintains customer relationships in a professional and courteous manner and provides pricing and technical information relating to Swagelok products and services. This role provides solutions that demonstrate our brand promise, our full capabilities, and our focus on customer satisfaction.ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Customer service process and Handling customer complain• Competent in all Customer Service functions especially processing customer quotes, orders, and other requests in a timely manner• Communicate in a clear and professional manner to help solve customer problems via telephone, email, in-person, or fax• Help resolve customer complaints/concerns• Understand corporate initiatives and strategic efforts• Direct requests and elevate unresolved issues to the proper resource- Technical Consultant • Technical competency regarding Swagelok products, services, related industries and applications. This includes recognizing complementary products, accessory parts, etc. - On time deliver the good to customer • . Ensure timely delivery of product to customer by communicating customer expectations with Purchasing and Warehouse personnel- Transaction with factory • Expedite orders, returns, and requests for technical information when appropriate• Obtain technical information, evaluate relevant details, and relay information to factory and/or customer• Interact with factory and sales people on customer’s behalf- Other duties • Manage time effectively and participate in projects outside Customer Service department• Demonstrate creative thinking when approaching challenges• Continuously improve through goal setting and utilizing Swagelok’s educational resources

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in related field (business, communications, marketing, technical, etc)Experience: Minimum 2 years in a customer service or inside sales role. Prior technical experience in industrial products or instrumentation preferred. knowledge of supply chain planning, CRM desiredKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES• Competency in the use of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, Outlook and Microsoft Dynamics• Ability to quickly connect and speak with customers to convey information effectively• Excellent verbal and written communication and active listening skills• Ability to influence others to make buying decisions• Critical thinking and inductive reasoning• Self motivated to achieve goals and complete tasks in a deadline oriented environment• Ability to work with, develop and lead others• Ability to communicate information regarding technical features of products and services.• Ability to solve complex problems and identify proper products and customer solutions• Ability to work independently and meet customer requirements• Ability to attend company meetings and events as needed
