We are looking for a Database Administrator who will provide stable DB service to customers by optimally configuring customer DB and managing performance and availability.
As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for:
- Diagnosing and reporting critical errors to Support Services
- Installing the Database Software and implementing the Database Design
- Deploying and operating active-active, active-standby solutions for database
- Performing upgrades, patches of the database and software to new release levels
- Migrating the database
- Managing the database instance
- Managing the storage structures of the database
- Managing users and security
- Managing database objects, such as tables, indexes, and views ...
- Backing up the database and performing recovery operations when necessary
- Monitoring the state of the database and taking preventive or corrective action as required
- Monitoring and tuning database performance
- DB Change Management
- DB configuration management
- Incident and problem management
- Availability, continuity and service level management
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
- University degree in Information Technology/ Telecommunication. or related field
- Generally 4 years of relevant experience in the same position
- Technical background in:
- OS includes Windows, Linux etc.
- DBMS: Mariad DB (if candidates have Oracle or other DB experience and they are willing to learn about Mariadb, they are more than welcomed to apply)
- Knowledge and Experience of ITSM/ITIL/CMMI
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Teamwork
