DevOps Engineer

POSITION SUMMARYWe are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to focus on scripting client installations and software upgrades. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with automation tools, source control, and continuous deployment solutions such as GitHub, AWS ECR, AWS CodeArtifacts, and ArgoCD. Experience in DevSecOps practices and familiarity with tools like Sigrid for code quality and security analysis are highly desired. This role requires close collaboration with developers and other stakeholders, as well as availability for weekend and off-hours support as needed. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE Develop, test, and maintain automated scripts for client software installations and upgrades. Collaborate closely with software developers to streamline and optimize deployment processes. Manage and maintain continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub, AWS ECS, AWS Artifactory, and ArgoCD. Integrate DevSecOps practices into CI/CD workflows to ensure secure development and deployment. Use tools like Sigrid to analyze code quality, security vulnerabilities, and maintainability. Monitor system performance and application health using Datadog and proactively resolve deployment and environment issues. Participate in troubleshooting and resolving production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolutions. Document processes, scripts, and procedures clearly for internal knowledge sharing. Provide weekend and after-hours support as required to ensure smooth deployments and upgrades. Act as an individual contributor by taking ownership of tasks, managing priorities independently, and delivering high-quality, reliable automation solutions. Continuously seek opportunities to improve system performance, deployment speed, and security. Adhere to and promote best practices in code management, version control, testing, and infrastructure automation.
