Director of Sales duties and responsibilities
Directors of Sales manage and oversee the sales of a company. They often have the following responsibilities:
• Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
• Create and communicate sales goals and ensure C-level executives are informed on the progress of those goals.
• Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
• Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes.
• Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals.
• Report on forces that shift strategic directions of accounts and tactical budgets.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
1. Minimum 3-5 years of sales management experience in the hospitality industry, preferably with international 5-star hotel brands.
2. In-depth knowledge of the travel, hospitality, and corporate markets, especially in high-end segments (MICE, Corporate, Leisure, OTA, etc.).
3. Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with brand positioning and hotel revenue targets.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills, including recruitment, training, and staff development.
5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a strong ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients.
6. Proficient in CRM systems and sales management software, with a data-driven approach to monitoring performance and productivity.
7. Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing); knowledge of additional languages such as Chinese, Korean, or Japanese is a plus.
8. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work under high pressure, with flexibility in working hours and willingness to travel as required.
