- Provide prompt, courteous and efficient engineering service.
- Acknowledge according to company brand standards anticipate
- Answer all phone calls directed to Engineering Department.
- Demonstrate an attitude of friendly hospitality in every aspect of service.
- Maintain cleanliness and condition of the work areas and equipment.
- Perform all assigned side work regularly, promptly, and correctly.
- Effectively handle guest concerns.
- Take work orders promptly according to standards.
- Responsible utilities metering reading, report to superior if found any discrepancy
- Receive and service work orders promptly according to standards.
- Make follow up calls to guest to inform about the status of the work order if needed.
- Monitoring all equipment’s are in good running condition and report status if found defective and recommend necessary solution for the problem.
- Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment.
- Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and all utility shut-offs for buildings.
- To clean, lubricate, protect, and otherwise maintain all tools and equipment in the hotel.
- To operate as an independent mechanic by analyzing problems, identifying courses of action, and implementing solutions with available resources and to a high degree of quality.
- To be available for any emergencies and act in engineering capacity to protect guests and associates, and preserve the building and its systems during the emergency.
- Read and understand blueprints, schematic drawings, and technical parts breakdown.
- Carry out specific oral or written communication level
- Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
- Respond and attend to guest repair requests.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company brand standards anticipate and address guests.
- Conduct training to engineering technicians / colleagues.
- Communicate with incoming shift.
- Follows Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
- Report any problems to manager on duty.
- Assist as needed to maintain standards of appearance, sanitation, and service in all areas of In Engineering.
- When required perform basic repairs and troubleshooting like plumbing, electrical components, vacuum cleaners, internet devices, replace electrical switches and bulbs, and other guest room items.
- Plans, recommends, and carries out an approved program on scheduled maintenance.
- Communicate pleasantly and courteously with guests, management, and co-workers
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
