Job Purpose• Coordinate of all activities of latest Environment and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) management system.• In charge of management representative in all issues relevant to EHS management system.• Develop and improvement of Environment and OHS management Procedure and goals.• Conduct internal audits to evaluate the compliance and effectiveness of procedures, identify and assist implementing of improvement activities.• Check, modify, update, and maintain effectiveness of the documentation relevant to EHS systems.Key Responsibilities1. Responsibility and tasks- The holder of the position "EHS Manager" is responsible for achieving the established goals related to safety, environment, quality, and efficiency within their own scope of responsibility, as outlined in the tasks and authorities described below.- The position holder is specifically accountable for acting as a role model for all employees in terms of OHS and ensuring cross-departmental promotion of safety awareness. He is responsible for providing necessary training and development for their subordinates, ensuring compliance with safety regulations within their area (e.g., consistent use of required personal protective equipment, continuous adherence to existing safety policies), and addressing and advising employees from other areas on unsafe behavior.- Furthermore, the position holder is responsible for ensuring compliance with internal hygiene & safety regulations and quality guidelines (e.g., cleanliness, orderliness) by their subordinates, as well as communicating and implementing internal and external frameworks (e.g., Code of Conduct, legal requirements, and changes) within their own area.- In terms of expertise, the responsibility area of the "EHS Manager" position includes ensuring and enhancing the implementation of normative requirements of international standard, corporate policy, and local requirement for Environment and OHS management system. To meet the requirements the EHS management system, the owner of this position need a deep knowledge about latest ISO standard 14001, 45001, local laws requirements to implement and ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the system in the organization.2. Duties2.1. EHS management system• Development, Implementation & Improvement EHS Procedure: Create, update, and implement Environment - Health & safety and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and corporate standards.• Compliance Monitoring: Ensure the organization complies with all applicable health, safety, and environmental laws, regulations, and standards (include corporate procedure/standard). This involves staying up to date with changing regulations and ensuring the organization's practices align with them.• Hazards Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Management: Identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace and develop strategies to mitigate them. This includes conducting risk assessments, job safety analyses, and environmental impact assessments.• Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and environmental breaches to find root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.• Emergency Preparedness: Develop, improve & support emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and contingency plans for various scenarios such as fires, chemical spills, or natural disasters. Consult and conduct regular assessment on internal Fire-fighting program to ensure its readiness in case of emergency.• Auditing and Inspections: Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and processes to ensure they correctly meet Occupational Health & Safety - Environmental standards. Implement corrective actions, as necessary. The set up of auditing process should follow PDCA cycle and include:o Plan: Make internal audit plan (defining the audit scope, objective, criteria, checklist, and schedule) strictly compliance to ISO standards.o Execute: Conducting the audit through interviews, document reviews, and observations.o Report: Documenting findings, including non-conformities, observations, and opportunities for improvement.o Follow up: Taking note, summarizing, conducting analysis & implementing corrective actions – preventive actions to make improvements or propose recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of management systems and verifying their effectiveness together with response colleagues.• Training and Education: Develop and deliver training programs to educate all level employees including new hires and contractors on OHS, and environmental standards and practices. Including Coordinating and organizing to conduct the training for first aid, firefighting team, safe in use of chemicals.• Documentation and Report: Maintain the accuracy and effectiveness of records related to QEHS activities, incidents, training, and compliance. Prepare reports for management and regulatory authorities as needed.• Supplier and Contractor Management: Evaluate and check the compliance of suppliers and contractors to ensure they follow the organization's standards and requirements. In detail: food – drinking hygiene and safety, suppliers, transport services, pest control, hot work, construction …• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in OHS and environmental performance of the management system. Implement and track initiatives to enhance overall EHS system performance. Digitalize and improve workflow relevant to OHS and Environment.• Communication: Promote communication of EHS system awareness and responsibility among employees. Ensure that information related to OHS, and environmental issues are effectively communicated throughout the organization such as: environmental protection, clean workspace, hazards identification, and prevention risk on occupational accident.• Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for EHS activities, including distributing resources for training, equipment, and other necessary expenses.• Regulatory Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact with regulatory agencies and authorities on EHS matters. Ensure prompt reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.• Performance Metrics: Set up key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of EHS programs and track progress over time. Maintain Safety KPIs.2.2. External Audit• Represent the company in external audits relevant to EHS.• Ensure readiness for external audits by identifying and correcting non-conformities.• Schedule and manage all audits, and coordinate with all Departments and Head Quarter as needed. Analyze and interpret audit results and introduce and control resulting actions required as well as prevent any other potential non-conformities happens in future.2.3. Reporting• Monitoring the implementation of the EHS targets, objectives, reporting results for the Board of Management at meetings periodically.• Organizing management review meeting report and directly reporting the status implementation, maintenance, and improvement of EHS to the Board of Management in alignment with IMS Manager.2.4. Other duty• Other supporting duties as assigned in agree with IMS Manager.

Required• University degree with major in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.• Holding certificate in EHS field is plus such as: CSP, CIH, NEBOSH …Required• 3+ years’ experience as EHS Manager or position with similar scope of work, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.• Experience related to managing all aspects related to EHS across business areas (including office, manufacturing/production facility, maintenance workshop and field operations) needed.• Strong leadership, influence and motivate employees, management, and contractors to meet the EHS goals.Required Authorization knowledge, Characteristics• The position holder handles conducting the tasks listed in this job description, adhering to existing work instructions, standards, and checklists, and has the necessary authority to do so in alignment with IMS Manager.Skills• Social competence, Initiative and independence, Data organization and analysis,• Internal & External auditor, Presentation and instruction, Problem solving,• Continuous improvement mindset, Strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities and changes with professionalism.
