About the Role:The Field Application Engineer (FAE) for Telecom -48V Power Supply and Data Center Solutions will serve as the primary technical resource for the sales team, ensuring seamless integration of -48V DC power systems, rectifiers, lithium-ion batteries, UPS, and precision cooling solutions into customer networks. This role involves pre-sales consultation, solution design, and post-sales technical support, working closely with customers to understand their power and infrastructure requirements and translating them into optimized, high-efficiency solutions using Delta’s products.Key Responsibilities:• Technical Support: Provide pre-sales consultation and post-sales technical support for -48V telecom power systems, rectifiers, lithium-ion batteries, UPS, and data center infrastructure to ensure seamless integration and operation.• Solution Design: Collaborate with customers to assess their power and cooling requirements and design customized telecom power and data center solutions using Delta’s products.• Product Demonstrations: Conduct technical presentations and live demonstrations of power and cooling solutions to customers and partners, highlighting key features and benefits.• Customer Training: Develop and deliver training programs on the installation, operation, and maintenance of -48V power systems, battery management, and data center power solutions.• Feedback Loop: Work closely with R&D and product teams to relay customer feedback, contributing to continuous product enhancement and innovation.• Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documents, including solution guides, installation manuals, troubleshooting guides, and best practice bulletins.• Field Support: Travel to customer sites as needed for on-site commissioning, system troubleshooting, and performance optimization.• Collaboration: Partner with the sales team to develop and support business opportunities, ensuring customers receive technical guidance throughout the sales cycle.• Market Analysis: Stay updated on telecom power and data center industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to provide strategic insights.

Candidate should have below capabilities:• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in technical support, field application engineering, or solution design for telecom power systems (-48V DC), rectifiers, lithium-ion batteries, UPS, or data center power and cooling solutions.• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of telecom power architecture, battery management systems, modular UPS, and data center infrastructure. Experience with power system design, load calculations, and energy efficiency optimization is a plus.• Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills in power distribution, rectifiers, battery systems, and cooling solutions, with the ability to diagnose and resolve system issues efficiently.• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience in delivering technical training and presentations is preferred.• Customer-Oriented: Proven ability to build strong customer relationships, provide tailored technical solutions, and support business growth.• Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50% for on-site installations, technical support, and customer training.
