Finance Assistant (Hanoi; Hung Yen)

Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our team. This role plays an important part in managing the company’s financial operations, including cash management, receivables, loans, capital, reporting, and compliance. The Finance Assistant will collaborate closely with internal departments, banks, vendors, and related parties to ensure efficient financial processes, accurate reporting, and compliance with legal and corporate requirements.Job Description:1) Banking & Cash Flow Management• Monitor daily bank transactions, reconcile balances, and ensure accurate cash reporting.• Prepare and execute payments, manage disbursements, and ensure timely settlement with suppliers.• Track FX rates, manage exposure, and negotiate FX contracts/hedging with banks.• Work with banks and credit institutions on contracts, disbursement, credit limits, guarantees, and investment products.2) Loans & Capital• Maintain loan contracts and schedules, ensure timely interest and principal payments.• Support capital structure management: record equity contributions, review capital changes, and ensure compliance with SBV regulations.3) Accounts Receivable & Related Party Transactions• Issue invoices and credit notes on SAP and e-invoice systems.• Track customer receivables & rebilling, follow up on overdue balances, and coordinate collections.• Reconcile intercompany receivables/payables and prepare confirmation letters with related parties.4) Other Receivables, Employee Claims & Commissions• Record and monitor employee receivables, advances, and other receivables.• Review and process employee expense claims, ensuring compliance with company policies.• Calculate and reconcile sales commissions, coordinating with Sales and HR for timely settlement.5) General Ledger & Reporting• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in line with VAS and Group requirements.• Support management reporting: profitability by product line, cost analysis, working capital performance, FX impacts.• Assist in budgeting and forecasting exercises, providing variance analysis and financial insights.6) Analyze financial statements and business performance, especially in manufacturing.7) Tax & Compliance• Prepare VAT refund dossiers and liaise with tax authorities on related matters.• Work with tax authorities and government regulators to provide information, explain company reports, and resolve queries.8) Sales & GA Support• Review contract/proposals to ensure profitability, proper cost allocation, and compliance with pricing policies.• Provide financial input on customer payment terms, credit risk, and cash flow impact.• Work with GA/HR on corporate legal compliance: business licenses, investment certificates, and regulatory filings.9) Internal Control & System Support• Ensure financial transactions comply with internal controls and company policies.• Support SAP financial modules, assisting in system updates, process improvements, and staff training.• Identify opportunities to optimize financial processes and improve efficiency.10) Other jobs assigned by Supervisor;
