JOB SUMMARYThe Finance Manager cum Chief Accountant is responsible for managing the financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and providing financial insights to support business decisions. This role involves overseeing accounting processes, financial reporting, and compliance while contributing to operational efficiency. The Finance Manager will work closely with senior management to ensure the company’s financial stability and compliance with local regulations and international standards.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESFinancial Planning & Analysis• Assist in developing financial strategies and plans to support business objectives.• Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to provide insights for decision-making.• Support the CEO and management team by preparing financial reports and performance reviews.Financial Reporting• Ensure the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and reports.• Maintain compliance with local and international accounting standards.• Manage financial reporting for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.Compliance & Audit• Ensure compliance with tax, financial, and legal regulations.• Coordinate internal and external audits to meet statutory requirements.• Implement and maintain strong internal financial controls to protect company assets.Accounting Operations• Supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger management.• Monitor financial transactions and ensure proper documentation and accuracy.• Optimize accounting policies, procedures, and systems to enhance efficiency.Team Management & Collaboration• Lead and support the finance and accounting team to ensure high performance.• Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.• Collaborate with different departments to align financial processes with business needs.• Promote transparency in financial reporting and budgeting across the organization.Purpose of the role:The purpose of this role is to:• Ensure financial accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.• Support informed decision-making through financial insights.• Strengthen financial controls and optimize accounting processes.• Contribute to the company’s operational and strategic success through effective financial management.
