- Assists the Assistant Manager and Housekeeping Manager in the smooth and efficient running of the Housekeeping department, ensuring that all the policies and procedures outlined in the Departmental Operations Manual are strictly adhered to.
- Ensures Housekeeping service standards are in accordance with the Operations Manual.
- Logs daily events in Supervisor’s Logbook and follow-up on information reported by the other Supervisors daily.
- Prepares worksheets for daily Housekeeping Attendants.
- Makes requisition twice weekly of amenities for “Turndown” service.
- Ensures Housekeeping Attendants deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times.
- Ensures Housekeeping Attendants also provide excellent service to internal customers as appropriate.
- Handles all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
- Ensures Rooms Division meets the Hotel’s targets in the areas of Guest Satisfaction Survey and Customer Audits.
- Works with the Assistant Manager to prepare weekly work schedules, making sure that they reflect business needs and other key performance indicators.
- Issues and keeps record of master keys.
- Prepares and issues Room Status Report.
- Distributes “Turndown” amenities.
- Assigns duties and responsibilities to Housekeeping Attendants.
- Obtains and follow-up handover work from previous shift Team Leaders.
- Inspects guest rooms.
- Checks the standard of “Turndown” services by Attendants.
- Liaises closely with the Front Office regarding guestroom status.
- Reports and follow-up on repair and maintenance.
- Updates room status via telephone interface system.
- Reports lost and damaged items.
- Prepares appropriate welcome and other amenities for V.I.P. rooms, special request rooms, and long stay guest rooms.
- Ensures the punctuality and appearance of all Housekeeping Attendants, making sure that they wear the correct uniform and maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene, according to the hotel and department’s grooming standards.
- Develops the skills and effectiveness of all Housekeeping Attendants through the appropriate learning, coaching, and/or mentoring.
- Encourages Housekeeping Attendants to be creative and innovative, challenging and recognising them for their contribution to the success of the operation.
- Ensures Attendants follow all hotel, company and local rules, policies and regulations relating to fire and hazard safety, and security
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the basic primary language of English used in the workplace.
- Thorough knowledge of Housekeeping materials.
- Proper handling of cleaning equipment and materials, for cleanliness of all guest rooms, corridor and pantry areas.
- High school or equivalent education required.
- Minimum 12 months of prior experience as a Floor Supervisor.
