Footwear - Quality Product Assistant Manager South Viet Nam

Purpose:To actively manage the compliance of the ‘Nominated’ & ‘Open’ material & component supplier and FGV (Finished Goods Vendor) base to the Clarks best practices and approved physical & chemical test methods / standards to uphold Clarks Brand image, product safety, legislative compliance and integrity.To provide vendor audits, technical lab consultancy, support and training to enable improvement of knowledge and compliance of best practice and standards within internal and external teams.To provide a test service where there are critical gaps in vendor testing.Ensure test documentation is uploaded onto GMDCore Accountabilities:1. Vietnam lab maintained as SATRA accredited, with all operating procedures continuing within accredited requirements. Assist in reviewing testing documentation presented by FGV when proposing alternative material/component supplier to that specified.2. Maintain company test method and standards library, available via the company Technical website. Support in delivering online vendor quality manual.3. Support the development, issuing and maintenance of company product based best practice for use by Finished Goods Vendors (FGV) and agents. Measure compliance to these standards to ensure the safety of Clarks product, the integrity of the Brand and all legislative standards are met.4. Deliver scheduled and consistent auditing of non-owned labs and vendor premises as agreed, to ensure locations follow best practice, have correctly calibrated equipment and work within accredited standards.5. Support company Restricted Substances (RS) testing programs for materials and finished goods, including CPSIA testing. Conduct RS audits as applicable.6. Ensure 3rd party testing records (physical and chemical) are compliant with Clarks standards and ensure when requested Clarks can retrieve the results of testing activity. Work with the PD and Materials teams to ensure all conformity certificates are managed appropriately within Clarks Product Development systems.7. Support the risk assessment process to ensure that all products are compliant with best practices and standards.8. Support specialist projects due diligence i.e. shoes containing lights, toys, etc. ensuring products are compliant for intended markets.9. Assist in the management of Global market complaints and cost recovery of defective product from vendors as relevant.
