JOB PURPOSEThis position will focus on sourcing from local and/or oversea to support various projects. He/She will be responsible for handling the company’s end to end sourcing operations as well as be able to appraise and improve our sourcing activities by analyzing the company’s spending, supplying partnerships and new opportunities. She/he will need to manage the suppliers for daily production issues come up, negotiating for any sudden changes needed for the benefit of the company.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSource and develop suppliers in commodity category:• Electrical (PCBA, charger, transformer)• Technical (mechanical, motor, stamping, machining)• Non-Technical (plastic, packaging, molding)• Indirect/MROSupport purchasing team to analysis and lead projects for localizations for the companyThis candidate will learn to understand product ranges, price ranges and capability of different suppliers to identify suitable suppliers for developmentSupport the procurement process including request for quotations, negotiate with suppliers, recommend best offer (in terms of quality, service, and cost)Identify potential savings opportunities and support cost savings initiativesFacilitate cross functional teams to assess and audit candidate suppliersPerform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarkingConduct competitive analysis

REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another technical field; Supply Chain ManagementPreferably in supply chain management functions under manufacturing or consumer goods settingStrong communication, listening and interpersonal skillsProactive, sensitive to figures and strong analytical and negotiation skillsPositive working attitude and willing to learn A self-starter with a ‘hands-on’ approach.Able to work under pressure.Eager to drive key initiatives and see them through to successful implementationExcellent speaking and writing in English & Vietnamese, Chinese is a plus Data Analysis, Power BI skill is a plusLeadership Competencies (LC) required:Know the business Sensitive about the number and result drive Positive attitudeFunctional Competencies (FC) required:Process and cost analysis, especially for commodity componentReporting relationship: Report to Purchasing LeadImpact of the position: We need to develop supplier base in Vietnam to support worldwide transfer program which include new supplier development, price analysis & supply chain management.
