We seek a highly organized and proactive Kitchen Administrator to support the Japanese Head Chef and his Japanese-speaking team in delivering international 5-star dining experiences. This role will serve as a vital bridge between kitchen operations and administrative functions, ensuring smooth workflows and supporting the unique needs of a high-end teppanyaki kitchen.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational, communication, and adaptability skills and thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment. This role reports to the Head Chef and Operations Manager (OM).
Administrative Support:
• Assist the Head Chef and team with daily administrative tasks, including scheduling, communication, and coordination of operational requirements.
• Manage documentation, such as inventory records, procurement requests, and compliance reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Act as a liaison between the Japanese-speaking kitchen team and other departments, providing translation support as needed.
Operational Coordination:
• Facilitate communication between FOH and BOH teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Support the Head Chef with kitchen logistics, including staff schedules, event planning, and supplier coordination.
• Monitor and maintain inventory records, ensuring all supplies meet the required quality standards and are available when needed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Collaborate with the OM, procurement, and finance teams to align kitchen operations with organizational goals.
• Work closely with other departments, adapting to changing needs and priorities in a dynamic work environment.
Compliance and Reporting:
• Ensure all kitchen operations comply with local regulations and organizational standards.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports on kitchen activities, inventory usage, and operational challenges to the OM and Head Chef.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related fields.
• Experience:
o Minimum 3 years in an administrative or operations support role, preferably in the F&B or international 5-star hospitality settings.
o Experience working in a multicultural environment and with Japanese-speaking teams is a strong advantage.
• Skills:
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with POS and back-office systems.
o Fluent in Japanese (both written and spoken); Other language skills (such as English) are highly preferred.
o Knowledge of local regulations and compliance standards related to F&B operations.
