KEY JOB DUTIES Game artist (80%):
Designing with the user experience in mind.
Liaising between developer and game planner.
Adhering to the production schedule.
Research & keep updated with new art genres, themes, styles, and trends.
Create & follow up Art Direction for games.
Curating and cataloging the asset library of the team.
Sketching concept designs and key elements of the visual style.
Design game logo, banner, poster, store kit, and end card with various sizes.
Design game concept, game screens with art assets, optimize size, and import into Unity.
Brainstorm with the team and contribute ideas to development.
3d Modeling (20%):
Working with Game Designer to plan a schedule.
Be able to use Blender (or other 3d tools) to create simple models.
Liaising with Dev teams on the scope of modeling import to unity.
Be able to use Unity or be willing to learn to use Unity for 3d works
Porting finished art to Unity, ensuring the final art runs to full visual resolution.
Working within the limits of Unity, curating file sizes, and loading speeds.

KNOWLEDGE:
Academic background in art, design, or equivalent programs.
Possess a good understanding of design standards and visual hierarchy.
Knowledge of visual language: texture, color theory, dimension, scale, perspective, shade, composition depth of field, proportion, spatial awareness, movement, lightning.
Knowledge about art concepts and the environment.
Knowledge of zoology, layout design, texturing, and asset creation.
Solid knowledge of the principles of 3D models is a big plus.
A strong understanding of UX, specializing in mobile games is a plus.
User experience-related certification is a plus.
Knowledge of game genres and trends in gaming is a plus.
SKILL:
Strong drawing skills, ability to visualize and design digital painting and illustration from abstract ideas.
Proficiency in using design tools (Photoshop, Blender, 3d tools, etc...).
Able to create simple models by using Blender or other tools.
Able to set art styles for new games or keep up with existing projects.
Able to work on all aspects of the game from the concepts, UI, VFX, icons, and logos, models to optimizing assets.
Able to independently research and create quality solutions to problems.
Good at written & spoken English.
3+ years of experience in the mobile game industry.
Experience in a 3d model is a big plus.
Can use Unity to design animations & video effects is a big plus.
The ability to create sound effects, conduct audio mixes, and design is a big plus.

A strong interest in Hyper Casual, Casual games art is a plus.
A love of playing mobile games and sensitivity to the user experience is a plus.
Strong Emotional Intelligence is a big plus.
