General Accountant

PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:- This position plays important role in providing timely information for decision making and ensure compliance with relevant policy/regulations.- To control financial and accounting transactions to make sure that they are complied with statutory regulations and internal procedure and manage day to day work in accounting department to produce timely and accurately financial and accounting information.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Manage daily operation of Accounting Department to achieve Department objectives.- Review monthly and yearly Financial report, Management report and Tax report to make sure there is no material mistake and in full compliance with Group Policy, Statutory Regulations.- Prepare Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly and Ad-hoc reports/forecasts to submit to Finance Controller and to Group Corporate Office as schedule or as required.- Work with Internal Auditors and other Departments to make sure internal control system of company is complied with Group requirements.- Work with Independent Auditors to make sure that unqualified audit report will be issued.- Manage Tax and Work with Tax office for yearly tax audit to achieve best tax benefit.- Perform other duties as assigned.
