JOB SUMMARYThe Global EDI Integration Specialist provides analysis and support to both internal and external customers on EDI-related issues. This would include partner set-up, feed integrity, system integration and liaison within Ashley Furniture’s business and IT units.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES• Leads EDI implementation with new trading partners – ocean carriers, rail lines, trucking partners, terminal parties.• Coordinates testing of data integrity with key partners.• Owns projects revolving around EDI enhancements, implementation or restructure.• Perform data audits and quality control measures. Addressing concerns with EDI partners when data quality has failed to meet Ashley Furniture’s standards or expectations.• Defines and performs EDI system backups and recovery procedures.• Establishes and implements policies, procedures, and technologies (including firewalls) to ensure EDI system security.• Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives.• Creates documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, work instructions and corrections. Interprets the manuals prepared for users to describe operating procedures.• Deep understanding of XML and XSD: The analyst needs to be proficient in XML for data representation and XSD (XML Schema Definition) for defining the structure and validation rules of XML documents. This includes understanding the syntax, elements, attributes, data types, and namespaces within these standards.• Coordinates, and troubleshoots EDI-related products.• Maintain reliable attendance.• Actively participate in departmental meetings, training and education. Assist with training other employees and providing backup.• Complete other assignments and special projects as requested.

1. Education• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, EDI programming) is preferred2. Experience• Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in EDI systems, supply chain technology, or related technical field• Demonstrated experience managing complex system integrations and trading partner relationships• Proven track record of successful project delivery in enterprise environments3. Licenses or Certifications• EDI certifications preferred (e.g., Certified EDI Professional• Project Management certification (PMP, Agile, Scrum) is a plus• Supply Chain or Logistics certifications are advantageous4. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities• Advanced communication and presentation skills• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving capabilities• Strong analytical thinking and data interpretation skills• Proven ability to collaborate• Superior organizational and time management skills• Deep expertise in EDI standards (• Experience with multiple training delivery methods• Demonstrated success in developing engaging training materials• Ability to work autonomously• Strong commitment to continuous learning
