Job Overview:The Head of R&D / R&D Director is responsible for leading the research and development function, driving innovation, and overseeing all technical and design teams. This role involves managing a diverse team to develop and deliver cutting-edge products that align with the company’s strategic goals.Key Responsibilities:• Manage a team of mechanical, hardware, firmware and software engineers.• Apply fundamental engineering concepts to solve complex, novel, and unfamiliar problems• Workload estimation & resource allocation• Daily follow-up of technical progress & issues• Assist the team members during development• Work closely with other team leaders and development teams• Participate in architecture definition & write technical specifications• Review hardware design, coding of implemented modules• Create, implement, and maintain technical documentation• Monitor and report on the status & progress of your team• Identify and mitigate technical design risks

Yêu Cầu Công Việc
• Extensive experience (5 years +) in a senior R&D management role with a proven track record in leading multidisciplinary teams.• Proficiency in hardware design and engineering, including prototyping, fabrication, assembly, board bring-up, mixed-signal debugging, and soldering.• Proficiency in Schematic, PCB design.• Experience with embedded software – writing software code, defining system architecture and troubleshooting is a plus.• Familiarity with communications protocols including CAN, LIN, USB, UART, I2C, and SPI.• Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and project management skills.
