HSE Technician - Night Shift

1. Description- The primary role of the HSE Technician is to implement and administer HSE programs, policies and procedures in line with corporate, compliance with province and legal requirements.- Managing all HSE aspects of manufacturing operations.- Conduct the evaluation operations, equipment and practices for Safety – Health – Environment regulatory compliance and with company standards.2. Responsibilities & Duties- Provide HSE technical expertise on manufacturing systems, process design and operating procedures.- Manage safety in the plant: Conduct regular HSE audits /reviews, recommend and oversee corrective /preventive measures to ensureing compliance with internal requirement, law.o Fire fighting: Prepare for fire protection rehearsal with employees or local authorities, monthly conduct fire fighting training and practiceo Machine safetyo Chemical safetyo Electrical safetyo Contractor safetyo Environment: Waste, air, hazardous waste to ensure meet legal requirements: Oversee handling, storage, and disposal of industrial and hazardous wastes- Training: conduct HSE training as traning plan- Cooperate with other department to accomplish health, safety and environment tasks.- Build up and develop safety network team.- Liaise with various government authorities on workplace health, safety, and environmental issues
