Description of the organization’s expectation:It is important that all IG Asia Vietnam employees have a clear understanding of the expectations of their duties and responsibilities. This job description outlines the major responsibilities for this role and is a guide to the employees and their managers as to their overall responsibilities. The employee recognizes that they may be required to undertake work that is outside of the specifics of this job description from time to time, as required and requested to do so for the good operations of IG Asia Vietnam, and they agree to undertake all reasonable and lawful instructions provided to them.Responsibilities:• Perform duties assigned by MEP Pre-construction manager/Design Manager/Design Director, and ensure all duties are undertaken within the required timeframe.• Prepare concept, basic and detail design drawings in Revit MEP and Auto CAD MEP, ensuring that the design is undertaken in accordance with local codes and international standards.• Undertake all necessary design calculations and analysis along with schematic diagrams and select appropriate equipment size.• Liaise with the project architects, other engineering disciplines, sub-consultants and clients as required.• Undertake site visits as required.• Undertake quality assurance checking of drawings and calculations self-produced and that of other team members as directed by Manager/Director.• Ensure that all drawings are reviewed and checked before submission to the Manager/Director and are also checked by the Team Leader (if any) prior to external issue.• Assist the Manager/Director and team leader (if any) in producing the design specifications, design reports and finalizing all design calculations as required.• Review shop drawings and material submissions from contractor/construction manager.• Follow Company’s design procedures, professional standards/rules.• Liaise with contractors and undertake site inspection duties as required.• Perform the duties under the assigned task of Manager/Director or Team Leader (if any) within the time frame.• Propose technical innovations for the Manager/Director or Team Leader (if any) to improve the design.• Assist the MEP pre-construction manager in preparing equipment & material quantity take-off and cost estimate from the design.• Prepare equipment & material technical schedules and submit to Manager/Director or Team Leader (if any) for review and validation

Qualifications & Competencies:• Degree qualified in HVAC engineering.• Be a licensed Mechanical Engineer or be eligible to become a licensed Mechanical Engineer. • Years of experience: Minimum of 5 Years Post Graduate Experience with similar position. • Previous experience working within an Engineering consulting environment, with a clear focus on design experience.• Intermediate time management and organizational skills with the ability to self-manage billable hours and ability to undertake own work with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy.• Advanced knowledge of design software in relation to the MEP design including Revit, AutoCAD and MS office software such as Excel, Word, Power Point, MS Project & Access.• Site inspection or supervision experience on building construction projects.• Intermediate knowledge of International Building Codes and Design Standards including environmental building standards (LEED and similar).• Intermediate written and spoken communication skills with a minimum basic understanding of English.• Previous experience within design teams and on Author’s Supervision dutiesBENEFIT* Preminum Health Insurance: PTI health insurance, supporting medical examination, hospitalization, and accident expenses.• Full Social, Health, and Unemployment Insurance according to actual salary (full salary).• Flexible Leave Policy: annual leave entitlement as labor laws and addtional 05 paid sick leave days.• Bonuses and Special Benefits:fixed 13th-month salary, birthday gifts, and celebrations on special occasions such as International Women’s Day (March 8), Children’s Day (June 1), and Mid-Autumn Festival.• Employee Engagement Activities: Participate in various sports, cultural, and team-building activities, Year End Party, off-road racing programs, football matches, and events organized by the Labor Union.• Dynamic and Friendly Working Environment: Encouraging personal development and providing career advancement opportunities.• Annual Salary Review and Adjustment.
