Ink Supervisor

1. Prepress Operations and Artwork Review:• Manage file preparation, imposition, and plate making for flexo printing.• Oversee creation and adaptation of artwork files for printing requirements.• Collaborate with Launch Pad Innovation to develop artwork files meet technical specifications.• Work with local plate maker to ensure qualified plate and manage plate supplier• Maintain brand consistency across printed materials.• Liaise with Sales, Customer Service and Technical Team to ensure managing customer demand while maintaining machine efficiency.• Collaborate with other departments to fulfill printing project requirements.• Staying updated with the latest printing technologies and trends.2. Ink Mixing & Colour Management• Develop and manage ink colour mixing techniques.• Ensure timely and adequate ink supply aligned with the production plan.• Monitor and assess ink quality; troubleshoot ink-related issues and adjust formulas as needed.• Participate in the product development team during print approval stages, ensuring quality from trial to mass production.• Collaborate with ink suppliers to adjust technical parameters to meet customer requirements.• Train and guide direct production staffs on best practices of ink setup and viscosity control.• Maintain inventory and safe handling of inks and related chemicals.• Join and propose initiatives to improve printing quality, enhance efficiency, and support product development projects.• Build and manage a library of standardized colour profiles, printing specifications, and operating manuals.
