Interpreter & Translator

1. Contract duration and contract location· Providing translation/ interpretation services starting from May 2025 - May 2026 (contractor)· Professional in-person interpretation for MD (mainly) and the Company's Management in both internal and external meetings (simultaneous and consecutive interpretation) as well as translation for relevant documents upon requested. Requirements for interpretation and translation includes:§ Convert dialogue and convey the intent of the original speaker, understanding that many idioms and slang terms do not translate exactly between languages.§ Translate clearly and accurately, conveying phrasing and intention as it relates to the subject.§ Submit translations to appropriate management for review as needed. 2. Working time· Follow the Company’s policy. 3. Service fee and payment methods· Monthly service fee: VND 15,000,000 excluding Personal income tax (PIT) according to the current regulations of law on Personal Income tax. Ford Vietnam to pay PIT on behalf of the supplier.· Payment method: Ford Vietnam will transfer to the translator/ interpreter's bank account in 45 days from each month delivery and after the interpreter/ translator submit the payment document to Ariba System. 4. Rights and duties of FVL· Request the translator/ interpreter to accommodate the translation/ interpretation of all scheduled meetings or meeting materials.· Timely notify the translator/ interpreter when the meeting schedule changes· Complete payment fees to the translator/ interpreter as agreed in the payment terms 5. Rights and duties of the translator/ interpreterInterpretation:Professional in-person interpretation for MD (mainly) and the Company's Management in both internal and external meetings (simultaneous and consecutive interpretation). Requirements for interpretation includes:· Convert dialogue and convey the intent of the original speaker, understanding that many idioms and slang terms do not translate exactly between languages.· Use technology where appropriate, such as microphones, headphones, telephones, video and the internet.· Keep all information confidential. Translation:Translate Company’s documents upon requested. Requirements for translation includes:· Translate clearly and accurately, conveying phrasing and intention as it relates to the subject.· Submit translations to appropriate management for review as needed.· Keep all information confidential. 6. Unilateral termination of contract· In case Ford no longer needs to use the service, Ford has the right to unilaterally terminate the contract at any point of time without notification and must pay the fee according to the part of the service provided by the translator/ interpreter.· In case that Ford fails to perform its duties or does not comply with the agreement, the translator/ interpreter has the right to unilaterally terminate the contract and request for the compensation caused by the contract termination.· In case the translator/ interpreter wants to terminate the contract, you must notify Ford 30 working days in advance. 7. Dispute resolution· Any dispute arising from this contract must first be resolved by the parties through negotiation and conciliation. In case the parties cannot negotiate and reconcile with each other, the dispute will be resolved at the Court, where Ford's representative office is located. The judgment of the Court will make the final decision, and the parties are obliged to enforce it. The losing party will bear all incurred cost· Any non-contractual disputes arising in the future, including the extension or premature termination of the contract, will be mutually agreed upon by both parties
