Investment Operations Officer

1. JOB PURPOSE
Handle and maintain the Operation Department runs smoothly including establishing operation and administration flow, deal settlement, cash management, trading record, reports to authorities, securities performance report, and so on.
2. ACCOUNTABILITIES
•Cash management, inform daily investable amount to investment Division.
Follow up deal confirmation from brokers, banks, counterparties and ensure details matching with original orders. Prepare settlement instructions/bank transfer for security purchase/sales and expense related to activities of funds and portfolios.
Reconcile securities and cash positions with custodian banks, Fund management system. Update trading record and corporate action to system.
Obtain security price from independent source to crosscheck with supervisory bank's prices before doing fund valuation.
•Provide NAV calculation for Investment Link Product and the portfolio of entrusted assets. Ensure reports to be submitted to relevant authorities properly, timely and accurately.
•Assigned works supporting for Open-ended fund: Follow up with distributors and transfer agent in executing operational tasks for OEF. Support operational activities for OEF such as record fund transactions and communicate with Transfer agency in accordance with internal procedures.
•Data maintenance for operation purpose and filing requirement. Record logbook for reviews of third party service providers.
3. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
•Key external relationships: build and maintain network of contacts in the finance industry including (i) counter parties (i.e., banks, securities firms), (ii) other investors and (iii) relevant government authorities (i.e., State Securities Commission).
•Key internal relationships: communicate clearly with members of other Divisions within the company as well as other Divisions within its parent company (Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company of Vietnam).
