1. Provide support for users for the proper functioning of the system as required by the IT Manager
2. To support all computing functions and equipment so every department concerned can obtain optimum benefit from utilizations of technology as directed by the IT Manager.
3. Assisting the IT Manager in terms of technical, resource, and logistic support utilization
4. Ensure that data backup procedures and maintenance routines are correctly followed and logged.
5. Ensure the ongoing integrity of all hardware and software and effect preventative.
6. Perform regular audits of the system and system maintenance with appropriate recommendations.
7. Maintain a register of all hardware including serial or other identifying numbers or characters and the geographical location of such.
8. To ensure the proper utilization and availability of computing resources for the ethical and legal use of technology.
9. Try to solve basic users’ problems in computer systems.
10. To help the Business Center or Function Rooms to solve the computer’s problems such as Internet connection or any problem related to the computer.
11. Co-operate with the training department to support the computer training courses for users.
12. Point of liaison between IT Vendors and the Hotel, coordinate with suppliers and maintenance vendors.
13. To provide to IT Manager a daily basis, a written report detailing system performance, problems encountered, action taken, recommended solution, and alteration of programs.
14. Prepare monthly summary reports for the IT Department.
15. Other duties assigned by IT Manager.
