IT Manager

The incumbent will be responsible to ensure the effective use of information and communication technologies in support of COHERENT business operations in Vietnam and provide leadership to Local ERP ongoing activities. This includes leading all aspects of the Information Technology Services, including business applications, networking, telecommunications, databases, systems integration and staff management, and working closely with other COHERENT departments to develop a thorough knowledge of their business processes and system requirements. Leads business systems implementation and optimization programs locally, collaborates with Asia / Corporate in the delivery of Global Services.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Direct and manage quality solutions (1) to satisfy business requirements measured by end-user satisfaction, improved processes and effective information and (2) based upon architecture consistent with industry standards and corporate direction.- Provide leadership and support in the implementation of business process improvement and system capabilities.- Ensure the user of sound methodologies in documenting requirements, converting data, developing and integrating systems, developing and executing system testing and ensure software quality, development and delivery of appropriate training and providing post-implementation support.- Work with all business disciplines to identify and prioritize information systems requirements, solutions, enhancements and schedules.- Promote the use of project management techniques such as definition of scope, goals and deliverables; milestone development; resource loading. Direct the definition, communication and execution of appropriate project plans with identified milestones.- Develop and implement local IT procedures, including security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision.- Ensure your team is staffed, motivated, inspired, engaged and empowered to deliver a high and sustainable performance level in an ever-changing environment at a cost level the organization can sustain and reflects market realities.
