PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- To understand and solve computer hardware, operating system problems.
- To solve Networking problems.
- To maintain computer and network security.
- To maintain server and client operating system.
- To maintain mail server administration.
- To provide timely preventive maintenance to all Information Technology (IT) infrastructure.
- To provide complete backup for all users and application data
- To maintain availability for consumable ex: blank CD and DVD etc.
- To update information about new information Technology (IT) trend
- To maintain all IT infrastructure with zero down time.
- To make computer and network in secure condition with update software and hardware.
- To deliver day to day guidance to users for EMS functional queries and problems.
- To Provide and timely update all documentation for IT infrastructure,
- To prepare and maintain user documentation for all EMS functional modules.
- To Deal with suppliers for getting quotations and prepare comparisons.
- To Report internet connectivity problems to ISP and get it solved.
- To Prepare MIS report.
- To maintain 5S in working area.
- To take backup for ERP data, User Data and other applications data.
- To control the disposal wastages in the department
- To follow the OCPs related to department
AUTHORITIES :
- Recommend new ideas for enhancing network infrastructure performance.
- Recommend new hardware requirement.
- Restrict users, those not following IT Policy.
- Recommend IT equipments those need replacement.
BASIS OF ASSESSING PERORMANCE (KEY RESULT OF NCRS / SCORE)
- Daily check for upkeep working of all IT infrastructures.
- Trouble shoot and solve problem for all IT infrastructure.
- Help desk to end user for software and hardware problem.
- Daily software updating to all IT infrastructures for make it secure.
- Check for mail server log.
- Daily backup for ERP data, User data and other application.
- Availability of IT consumable.
