Java Software Engineer

Core Skills: At least 4 years of experience with core Java concepts including object-oriented programming, multithreading, generics, and collections. Proficiency with Spring, Spring Data, Dependency Injection (DI), and transaction management. Strong skills in building RESTful APIs, working with microservices architecture, and expertise in server technologies like Tomcat and Jetty. Experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and reliability. Proficiency with debugging tools and techniques to maintain high-performance systems. Expertise in SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB), including database design, optimization, and data modeling. Proven ability to optimize backend systems for performance and scalability.  DevOps and Cloud Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Action, GitLab, Harness to automate build and deployment pipelines. Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, SQS, SNS and Lambda for scalable cloud-based solutions. Experience with monitoring and logging tools like DataDog to track performance, logs, and metrics in Kubernetes environments.   Version Control and Agile Practices Proficiency in GitHub for version control and team collaboration. Experience working in Agile environments, participating in sprints, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.  Bonus Skills Familiarity with JavaScript and TypeScript, including ES6+ syntax, is highly advantageous. Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s), including container orchestration, scaling, and deployment of microservices in a distributed system.
