Java Teamleader

We are seeking a skilled Java Teamleader with expertise in the banking domain to oversee the development and implementation of banking applications and financial solutions.  The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, deep knowledge of Java-based technologies, and experience in managing large-scale banking projects.Responsibilities Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of Java developers, ensuring high-quality code, best practices. Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance banking applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices. Project Management: Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements, define technical solutions, and ensure timely delivery. Code Review & Quality Assurance: Enforce coding standards, conduct code reviews, and implement best practices to maintain software quality. Security & Compliance: Ensure adherence to banking security standards, data privacy regulations, and compliance requirements. DevOps & CI/CD: Oversee deployment pipelines, optimize build processes, and ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications. Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve system performance issues, ensuring high availability and reliability of banking applications. Requirements 5+ years of Java development experience, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role. Strong proficiency in Spring Boot, React JS, Open API. Experience in banking and financial services, with knowledge of core banking systems, payment processing, risk management, or trading platforms is a plus. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, API gateways, and Open Banking standards. Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.). Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git, and automated testing frameworks. Knowledge of security best practices, encryption standards, and authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT, SAML). Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to AI/ML in financial services and fintech innovations. Certification in Java (Oracle Certified Java Developer) or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
