1. Prepares guest pressing and dry cleaning as requested in accordance with hotel presentation standards.
2. Spot and dry clean all uniforms.
3. Sort articles to be dry cleaned into categories and performs dry cleaning function including:
4. Uses all dry cleaning equipment.
5. Uses spotting boards.
6. Attends to pre-coating and sludging.
7. Sorts articles for pressing into categories and performs pressing function including:
8. Uses pressing equipment.
9. Uses appropriate chemicals when pressing.
10. Maintains chemical supplies.
11. Prepares requisitions for depleted supplies.
12. Checks guest items on receipt for damage and record any findings.
13. Maintains dry cleaning equipment in good condition and ensures regular servicing.
14. Attends to outside customers and guests courteously, promptly while maximizing sales.
15. Sorts hotel uniforms and guest linen for washing.
16. Ensures timely loading and loading of machines.
17. Ensures timely addition of chemicals in proper quantity.
18. Maintains proper temperature, pressure and water level.
19. Ensures machines and areas are kept free of lint.
20. Ensures all stains are removed, testing the chemicals before applying on the fabric, else inform the supervisor.
21. Sorts hotel uniforms and guest linen for pressing.
22. Ensures proper temperature and pressure required as per the texture of the textile.
23. Ensures timely pressing of all items.
24. Ensures all garments being pressed are in proper condition, else inform the supervisor, for suitable action to be taken.
25. Ensures broken zippers, missing buttons are replaced.
26. Ensures mending is done if necessary.
27. Maintains working area and equipment in proper state of cleanliness and repair.
28. Completes tasks as directed by Management.
29. Maintains stock levels.
30. Recycles where possible.
31. Works in line with business requirements.
32. Reports and submits lost and found articles to supervisor immediately.
33. Anticipates guest needs, handle guest enquires, and solve problems.
34. Reports guest complaints to supervisor immediately.
35. Reports unusual behavior/activities on floors to supervisor.
36. Maintains Hotel information to be able to provide information to guests.
37. Assists guests and escort them to locations within the hotel at their requests.
38. Adheres to personal grooming and hygiene standards.
39. Attends meetings and training sessions as required.
40. Creates a positive hotel image in every interaction with internal and external customers.
41. Actively participates in organized meetings.
42. Performs other task assigned based on the hotel needs or requirements
43. Is multi-skilled as Housemen as well as other areas of Housekeeping.
44. Maintains good relations with Housekeeping staff and other interfacing departments.
45. Ensures you have complete knowledge of room types, layouts and facilities.
46. Demonstrates hotel rules and regulations.
47. Demonstrates Marriott's core values under all circumstances.
48. Ensures compliance with legislated health and safety requirements within the workplace.
49. Complies with all Corporate and Hotel Standards and Procedures.

Education: Graduate at least from high school (Housekeeping Certificate is preferred)
Experience: Experience in Housekeeping department in 1 year at the same position is preferred.
Additional Skill required:
- Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees.
- Able to speak in Basic English.
