- To plan, organize and supervise the laundry activities on a daily basic. Enforces policies and procedures in relation to the Laundry, trains and directs all non-supervisory and rank and file staff within the section. Responsible for the supervision, coordination of all laundry and valet personnel.
- To is responsible directly for the training and close suoervision of all employees. They also assist the Manager Laundry in the overall running of the section ans will perform the duties of Manager Laundry in his absence.
- Supervises and coordinates the activities of all laundry and valet personnel engaged in the processing of guests items. House laundry/dry cleaning and pressing items.
- Informs guests of discrepancies in counts, defects or stains in their items prior to laundry and dry cleaning; reports such house linen and uniform discrepancies and defects, major problem to laundry manager.
- Assist the Manager Laundry in supervising and coordinating all activities within the section.
- Maintain quality un cleaning and finishing and see to it that systems and procedures are being followed.
- Ensure that all equipment is used and being cleaned properly, refer to the Laundry Manager any unusual sound or defects of the equipment.
- Maintain daily production report and see to it that all equipment used at its maximum output not necessarily over loading the same.
- Help in marking, sorting, spotting, etc whenever necessary.
- Assume the responsibility of Laundry Manager in the absence of the latter.
- Ensure cleanliness, proper handling and maintenance of work area and equipment.
- Responsible for resolving all operational problems that occur within the section.
- Make certain that all assignments are completed by the end of all employees shifts.
- Ensure that the incoming shift is aware of the status of all assignments before the commencement of work.
- Check and control the quality of output from the laundry as the whole.
- Ensure the availability and adequate supply of all house linen F&B linen and uniforms are required by Linen room.
- Ensure constant clear and open communication lines are kept with the Linen room supervisor in relation to their requirements.
- Ensure that at all times laundry equipment is kept in the clean state.
- Ensure that at all times the Laundry, as the whole is clean and organized.
- Ensure that adequate supplies of cleaning chemicals and supplies are kept at all times.
- Ensure that the logbook is read on a daily basis and all problems are resolved.
- Train new laundry staff in all operation and activities.
- Reinforce quality control on standard procedures for all laundry operation activities to ensure a consistent high and quality service.
- Delegate work to all personnel.
- Ensure that the hotel linen and uniforms are properly processed at all times and that the section as a whole is profitable.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
- Significant experience in a customer-service position.
- Extremely high spirit of Customer Service.
- English: basic communication skills.
