MAIN DUTIES:
Administration
• Control and acknowledge all store requisitions and purchase requests in the absence of the outlet manager
• Fill up the weekly cleaning plan in the absence of the outlet manager
• Issue and follow up on all needed maintenance requests in the absence of the outlet manager
• Fill up the daily acknowledgement form
• Fill up the log book in absence of the outlet manager
• Communicate to outlet Manager any areas of concerns
• Give regular feedback to the outlet Manager in regards to the performance of the team
• Give regular feedback to the outlet Manager in regards to the guest comments
• Support the outlet manager in the implementation of any special events
• Ensure excellent communication within the team
• Support the outlet managers in any tasks or responsibilities that is the area of competences of the supervisor
Financial and Revenue Responsibilities
• Communicate the financial target (budget) to the team
• Is active and work hard to reach the budget
Training and Human Resources Management
• Train the team according to the monthly training plan
• Issue training checklist for all given training
• Establishes effective employee relations and maintains the highest level of professionalism, ethic and attitude towards all hotel guests, clients, heads of department and employees
• Control the grooming of each F&B staff
• Give regular positive and negative feedback to all waiters in a constructive way
Guest Service Responsibilities
• Ensure full guest satisfaction at any time
• Develop customer loyalty and recognition
• Introduce and up sell any special events / promotions
• Gather guest feedback and report to outlet Manager
• Handle and follow up on any guests complains in absence of the outlet Manager
• Report any complains / good or bad comments to the outlet manager
• Work hard to satisfy any guest requests
Operational Responsibilities
• Ensure smooth and efficient service at any time
• Ensure proper atmosphere of each outlet according to the time of the day (music, lighting, aromas, temperature…)
• Ensure good communication between kitchen, bar and service team
• Check all buffet set up
• Check restaurant and table set up
• Know and ensure full follow up on the Sofitel brand standards
• Control the cleanliness of bar counter and back office
• Ensure proper organization of each service stations
• Ensure efficient sequence of service
• Follow up that all given training and fully followed by the staff
• Handle and follow up on any guests complains
• Report any guest complains to Asst DFB
Meetings to attend
• Attend the daily F&B morning briefing
• Attend be monthly promotion meeting in absence of the outlet Manager
• Attend the weekly pre con meeting in the absence of the outlet manager
• Attend the monthly FB manager meeting in the absence of the outlet manager
Miscellaneous
• All ambassadors are required to comply with every reasonable request from their hierarchical supervisor(s) within an amount of time that it takes to comply under normal circumstances.
• All ambassadors may be assigned to other duties in the hotel as and when required by business levels.
