Lead Automation & AI System Engineer

- Define and lead enterprise-wide automation roadmap with a clear distinction between agentic and non-agentic automation use cases.- Identify high-impact opportunities to implement automation across departments (e.g. operations, customer support, marketing, logistics).- Educate and consult with internal teams on automation potential and AI integration paths.- Create clear frameworks for automation decision-making (e.g. when to use agentic reasoning versus structured workflows).- Develop and deploy robust automations using n8n or Make.com, including advanced workflows requiring conditional logic; webhooks, API calls; error handling and retry logic; node-based customs functions using JavaScript or Python.- Build agentic AI workflows that combine planning, tool use and decision-making using LLMs (e.g. OpenAI Assistants, open-source agents, LangChain or AutoGen).- Integrate LLMs into Zeder systems to handle tasks such as summarization, document routing, prompt-based decisions and autonomous workflows.- Oversee automation security and maintenance to ensure long-term reliability.- Lead and mentor a team of AI developers and automation engineers.- Collaborate with HoDs to scope, document and deliver automations that streamline workflows.- Maintain internal documentation and training materials to support scale and handover.
