VNG Games Data Platform is in charge of all Game Business’s data functions Data Infrastructure & Log Services, Business Intelligence, Bussiness Analysis, and Data Science. We are looking for someone ready to lead Game Data Platform’s Data Engineering Team. The Data Engineering team is building & maintaining multiple data infrastructure initiatives for VNG Games. Responsibilities:
Leading & maintaining Game Data Platform’s data infrastructure initiatives projects
Ensure Game Data Platform’s data integrity and accuracy as well as a data management practice
Building/maintaining and improving our current data integration pipelines (streaming and batching ETL), testing and production deployment frameworks/architecture for all Game Data Platform data products
Keep the whole Data Engineering team updated with current best practices and maintain data engineering standard
Manage a team of data engineers (6-8 members)
Provide mentorship to a team member
Effective communication with leadership, tech, and business teams

Yêu Cầu Công Việc
Bachelor or Master/Ph.D. (plus+) degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a relevant field of study.
At least 7+ years of experience in data engineering
Extensive experience in designing and building ETL data pipelines, data models, data warehouses/ data lakes, optimizing data pipelines and architecture
Experience with big data technologies, distributed frameworks (e.g Hadoop, Spark, Kafka), database technologies (e.g MySQL, PostgreSQL or NoSQL: Mongo), cloud technology (e.g AWS, GCP), scheduling tools (e.g Airflow)
Strong working knowledge of data structures, algorithms
Extensive experience in programming frameworks (Scala, Python, R, Java, etc.)
Experience in working with real-time data and streaming application
Experience in CI/CD pipeline and Git
Careful, highly organized, and self-learning attitude.
Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills
